Registered agent service for your Westfield Center company
Give your Westfield Center business an organized route for official documents at $49 a year. We can also form your Ohio LLC and establish its statutory agent appointment from the beginning.
You bring the idea.
We make it official.

A statutory agent for the company you are building
Westfield Center has a well-known connection with the insurance business, but a statutory agent performs a different job from an insurance agent. Our role is receiving documents for an Ohio entity through its appointed agent relationship and helping those documents reach the authorized people. We do not sell insurance through this service or represent the village's prominent insurer.
For $49 per legal entity each year, Ohio Registered Statutory Agent provides the published document receiving, scanning, and notification service. That gives a consultant, shop owner, or other entrepreneur an organized administrative contact point. The service walkthrough explains the handoff so you understand both what we do and what the company remains responsible for doing next.
If you are establishing a new business, we can also prepare its Ohio LLC formation. You can have us create the entity and serve as agent from the beginning, or hire us only for the agent role when the entity already exists. Choosing between those paths starts with the company records you have, rather than the number of services on an order page.
Your business
Keep official receipt independent of your customer calendar
An Ohio LLC must continuously maintain an eligible agent in the state for service of process. Ohio calls the role statutory agent; registered agent is another common search term for it. The appointment is about the legal entity's receiving process, not the owner's daily availability for customer appointments.
Our annual plan includes same-business-day scanning and publication, email and text notices, and phone escalation for urgent documents that remain unacknowledged. Authorized contacts can have roles and per-entity permissions suited to their responsibilities. A business with an owner, administrative helper, and outside lawyer can establish a clear process without giving everyone unrestricted access to every entity.
A useful habit is assigning one person to check a notice and one backup to cover absences. Decide how documents reach the appropriate adviser and where the resulting records are kept. We deliver what is received through the service; we do not decide legal strategy or respond to claims. An acknowledgment shows that a document was seen, not that the underlying matter is resolved.
Your business
Have us create your Ohio LLC with its first agent appointment
The standard first-year price for formation assistance and registered agent service is $248. It includes $100 for our preparation and filing work, Ohio's $99 Articles of Organization fee, and $49 for agent service. We check the proposed name and submit the authorized filing. Optional assistance and any expedited processing are separately priced.
Use the preparation stage to clarify ownership and management. If the company will have several owners, decide how contributions, authority, and departures will be handled. A tailored operating agreement is not included in the basic formation service. The public filing creates the entity when accepted, but it does not automatically resolve how the people behind it will work together.
Our formation page explains the service, while the Ohio LLC guide places it among other startup tasks. Banks, insurers, landlords, and local reviewers may each need different information. Keep their requirements separate so an accepted LLC filing is not mistaken for coverage, premises approval, or a guarantee that a customer will hire you.
The community in numbers
Read the village profile with its uncertainty in view
The Census Bureau's 2020–2024 American Community Survey estimates Westfield Center village's population at 1,211. Its population margin of error is plus or minus 253 at the 90% confidence level. The estimated age shares are 13.5% younger than 18 and 40.4% age 65 or older. These figures describe the village, not Westfield Township or everyone who works at a local employer.
Selected race estimates include 83.0% White alone, 11.6% some other race alone, and 5.4% two or more races. Hispanic or Latino origin is estimated at 2.8%, across races. Several small-area subgroup estimates have wide uncertainty, so the percentages should not be used to make precise claims about individual residents. Race and ethnicity overlap and cannot be added as separate populations.
For a founder, the profile can prompt questions about accessible service, clear information, and customer preferences. Those questions need direct research rather than assumptions based on age. A company selling to other businesses may have a market shaped more by purchasing needs than by resident population. Match the data to the audience you actually intend to serve.

Local business guide
A village green, an earlier name, and a documented beginning
The village's official history dates Westfield Center's establishment to 1826 and describes a New England-style layout around a central green. It explains the earlier LeRoy name and the return to Westfield Center in 1971. The account identifies James Fowler with the name's connection to Westfield, Massachusetts, providing a documented local historical figure.
That sequence shows why old records may use a different place name from the one a customer knows today. It does not mean the present village and surrounding township are interchangeable. Be precise when describing a property, researching records, or comparing demographic information, especially when a familiar name appears in several contexts.
A business can apply the same discipline to its own records. If the company changes a brand or address, preserve the relationship between old and new information. Keep the legal entity name clear on contracts and invoices rather than assuming customers, banks, and suppliers will all understand the change from an informal announcement.

Insurance history without an implied affiliation
The village account links its development with Ohio Farmers' Insurance, founded by local farmers and chartered in 1848, and the later Westfield name. That historical connection helps explain why insurance is prominent in the village's identity. It does not create a relationship between our statutory agent service and Westfield or its associated companies.
For an entrepreneur who hopes to serve a large organization, the practical next step is to learn that organization's actual purchasing requirements. A formed LLC can identify the vendor, but it does not establish approved-vendor status, insurance coverage, or a contract. Ask what documentation is needed and provide accurate records for the business that would perform the work.
Avoid using a nearby employer's name in a way that suggests a partnership you do not have. Explain your own skills, service area, and capacity. A truthful description gives a prospective customer something useful to evaluate and keeps the legal entity, marketing brand, and claimed relationships aligned.

The commons and a residential village scale
The green at the center of the village is a defining part of Westfield Center's historical layout. The village's history also identifies the municipal hall and park setting. These places help describe the community's scale without inventing a collection of urban neighborhoods for a small village.
If you plan a customer-facing business, examine the particular premises rather than relying on the character of the wider area. Consider visitors, parking, deliveries, equipment, and any changes to the property. Explain the proposed activity accurately to the relevant local office, landlord, or insurer before making commitments that depend on approval.
A statutory agent address does not become a Westfield Center office for your customers. Use it for the authorized role and give the real operating location where another organization requires it. Our privacy guide discusses how an agent arrangement can help with public-record choices while recognizing that it does not erase earlier filings or replace every other address field.
Your business
Keep one clear record for each legal business
A person can operate more than one company, but the documents should remain distinct. Keep the legal names, entity numbers, subscriptions, and authorized contacts organized by entity. A notice for a property LLC should not be treated as a notice for the consulting business merely because both share an owner.
An existing company can switch to our agent service for $74 in the first year, including $49 for service and Ohio's $25 update fee. We prepare the authorized filing. Retrieve documents from the former agent and confirm the appointment on Ohio's record. Read the switching guide before confusing cancellation of an old subscription with completion of the official change.
Nearby Westfield Township, Seville, and Lodi may form part of your customer area. A broader service area does not automatically create another legal company. Choose our agent plan for the entity you have, or formation assistance for the new venture you want us to file, with the scope and price clear before authorization.
