Foreign Business Registration

Ohio requires an out-of-state entity to register before doing business here, and every registration needs an Ohio statutory agent. We prepare the registration, serve as your agent, and file it.

Who it's for: LLCs and corporations formed outside Ohio that need to be registered here.

plus the $99 Ohio state fee; your home state may charge for a certificate of good standing

  • Ohio name check, and a trade-name workaround if your name is taken here

  • Ohio statutory agent appointment and signed acceptance
  • Guidance on obtaining the certificate of good standing your home state issues
  • Filed registration and state receipt uploaded to your portal

  2. Approve and pay. $100 to us plus the $99 Ohio state fee.

Questions

Do I need to register if I only have one Ohio customer?

Whether an activity counts as doing business in Ohio is a legal question we do not answer. If you have decided you need to register, we handle the filing.

Ohio Registered Statutory Agent LLC is a commercial statutory agent and filing service, not a law firm or accounting firm. We prepare and file documents at your direction and do not advise on which entity type, tax election, or registration is right for you.
